Atlanta Cyclorama: 800-C Cherokee Avenue. The world’s largest diorama painting literally revolves around you as it depicts the 1864 Civil War Battle of Atlanta

Braves Museum and Hall of Fame/Turner Field Tours: 755 Hank Aaron Drive 404/614-3210. The Museum is home to over 500 exhibts which follow the History of the Braves from their beginnings in Boston to the present day. This Museaum is open year around.

Atlanta History Center: 130 West Paces Ferry Road. The Atlanta History Center includes the Atlanta History Museum and 33 acres of gardens.

Jimmy Carter Presidential Library: 441 Freedom Parkway. One of 10 Presidential Libraries administrated by the National Archives and Records Administration.

Fernbank Museum of Natural History: 767 Clifton Road. The museum includes an IMAX Theatre and is home to the world’s largest dinosaurs.

Georgia Dome: 1 Georgia Dome Drive, N.W. 404/223-9200. Georgia Dome is the world’s largest cable-supported dome. The dome was the site of the 1994 and 2000 Super Bowls and events for the 1996 Olympics were also held here. Today the Dome is Home of The Falcons.

Historic Oakland Cemetery: 248 Oakland Avenue. This is a historic graveyard which serves as the final resting place to over 70,000 past inhabitants of Atlanta..

Margaret Mitchell House and Museum: 990 Peachtree St Birthplace of “Gone With The Wind”.

Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site: 450 Auburn Avenue, N.E. Visit Dr. King’s Birth Home and historic Ebenezer Church.

SciTrek Museum of Science and Technology: 395 Piedmont Avenue, N.W. One of the top 10 science centers in America.

Philips Arena: 1 Philips Drive, N.W. 404/878-3000. This state-of-the-art arena is home to the NBA Hawks and the NHL Atlanta Thrashers and includes an interactive area for fans called The Thrashers Nest
